The battery is built in and charges through the USB-C port on the control module. A USB-A to USB-C cable is included, so you can plug it into a USB wall adapter or a laptop.

Turn the headlamp on, then press the sensor button to enter sensor mode. The indicator changes from red to green, and a wave of your hand in front of the lamp switches the light on or off. Handy when your gloves are greasy.

The headlamp has three wide COB strips across the front and a round spot LED beside them. Press the power button to step through the modes, including high, middle and low brightness.

The lamp sits on an elastic headband with an adjustable buckle, so you can tighten or loosen it until it stays put while you lean into the engine bay.

One rechargeable headlamp and one USB-A to USB-C charging cable. A wall adapter is not included; any standard USB port will do.
